Most warm days when I get home from work after going to the gym and my 1.2 mile walk in the sunshine from the train I am craving nutrition in the form of a smoothie. Some days fly by and I haven't had many of the supplements and super items I like to include in my diet. 

This Super Smoothie I also like to call this the Kitchen Sink Smoothie, because I use A LOT of the pantry items. I made it yesterday after work and when Garrett came home he looked at what I was doing and said "I thought we cleaned the kitchen yesterday?" I was standing in the kitchen surrounded by jars, bags, powders, superfoods, and toppings... all the things!

I'm obsessed with this recipe!

It is very similar to the vegan cacao avocado ice cream I like to make, but the chocolate coating makes them even better!

Reasons why I'm OBSESSED:

Simply said, it is indulgent without the guilt. No dairy means no digestive upset, no refined sugar, no processed crap, tons of vitamins and minerals, and full of superfoods!

This recipe helps - burn fat, keep you full, boosts brain and heart health, improves gut health and supports your digestion, also helps with inflammation and joint pain.

This is one of my FAVORITE recipes. First off the color alone grabs everyones attention. Then you add in the delicious flavors and the superfoods and it is a show stopper! 

I always like to make yummy things even better by adding superfoods and giving it a nutrition boost! Enjoy this recipe with fresh vegetables or add it to a salad for a creamy protein packed addition.
