How I got here…

I have a love for fresh food and a healthy lifestyle, some days that is green juices, smoothies, kale and quinoa salads and other days that includes indulgences and feeding my soul. I believe in looking at health with a holistic approach, it isn’t just about what you eat and how you exercise.

In 2011 I received by Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Health Sciences, from Chapman University in Orange County, California. I wanted to take my scientific knowledge to the people, but I strongly felt that no one was going to eat healthy food if it didn’t taste good! By Spring of 2012 I had graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley.

From there I moved to San Francisco, California to work in restaurants. During the four years I lived in SF I learned a lot! I was getting hands on experience in high volume cooking, with working with farmers and purveyors, learning what people eat, and the business of the restaurant industry.

From San Francisco my husband, Garrett, and I moved to Austin, Texas. Here I began working at Apple Inc. in their onsite kitchen and going to school again to combine my two degrees and become a Holistic Health Coach. I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I learned about more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods.

Drawing on this knowledge and my other degrees, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
